![]() ![]() I am posting this message across many threads with the warning - if you are using T-LCM within iRacing, check your jo圜alib.yaml and make sure you are getting 65535 steps for throttle and brake (likely requiring a dedicated 2nd USB cable just for the pedals, do not trust Thrustmaster about connecting pedals to base with 1 overall USB) as it is extremely noticable and worth it. There is also still a "TS-XW Racer" device for me with the legacy 1023 step settings, and it remains even if I delete that section from the yaml, but it seems harmless because I can absolutely feel that the "Sim Pedals" / 65535 settings are what is active, via both the smoothness and the brake force needed to register 100% within iRacing (relative to what I calibrated in T-LCM calibration tool, also minor deadzones too). Throttle/brake inputs with the 65535 steps now show up as a second "Sim Pedals" device in the jo圜alib.yaml file. This is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT and both inputs are so much smoother now - this base and pedals combo is genuinely impressive now and I feel worth the money where I wasn't so sure before. After recalibrating in iRacing, not only did it obviously fix the brake force (T-LCM calibrated 60 now feels like 60), but as a big added bonus the config now also shows 65535 steps (HIGH RESOLUTION) for throttle and brake. I unplugged T-LCM from the base, and connected it directly to computer via dedicated 2nd USB cable. When investigating, eventually via the config file (jo圜alib.yaml) I also found throttle and brake were only reading as 1023 max steps (LOW RESOLUTION). iRacing calibration was clearly off, most noticably how it was not honoring my T-LCM calibrated brake force of 60 - in iRacing I could feel it was overriding it with basically a 100% brake force setting. I would just use my hands but I don't want to ruin the alacantra, plus it left a good amount of dye on my hands lol.I had T-LCM directly connected to TS-XW base because Thrustmaster claimed that with the newest firmware it would get it into T-LCM higher resolution mode (supposedly proven by the 10x blinking) and all is well. It's either static shock, or the grip on the gloves aren't allowing the wheel to spin as smooth as it would with bare hands. I wonder if it was from static shock or something. Please use the 'Support' flair if you want help from our support team. It is also available under Apps > Thrustmaster: Your shifter should appear under the name T500 RS Gear Shift. This will bring up the Search function, giving you access to the Game Controller Control Panel. We love getting feedback and hearing about your experiences with your products. From the Start menu, start typing the words Control Panel. I ended up taking off my gloves and just used my bare hands, and the button presses no longer happend. Welcome to the Logitech G subreddit This is the place to talk about Logitech G hardware and software, pro gaming competitions and our sponsored teams and players. I can try to steer the wheel, push buttons, change the PC. I continued to do this over and over and got the same results. I installed the last drivers from thrustmasters website and updated the firmware at the same time, the wheel is recognized by the control panel as 'thrustmaster advanced mode driver' and it show the T248 logo when go into its properties, so far so good. Just make sure you have the latest driver installed, then plug your wheel, open the 'Firmware updater' from Thrustmaster that the driver installed, and update the firmware. In some games the rotation angle is manage by the game (its automatic and depends of the cars) and not by the control panel. Theres no need to use the bootloader to update the firmware. Go into the game, set there the Sam range and it’s good. Literally as soon as I touch the wheel, the random button presses occur. Product number : 4060059 4060080 Warning Your shifter’s Firmware version appears in the top right in the Control Panel’s tabs. The setting are only activated when used by another software (game or in this case the control panel). I drove around without my hands on the wheel. My thought was maybe it the FFB or wheel flex. I can duplicate the issue in CarX with ease. ![]() Based on my quick check, the folder labeled drivers does indeed appear to hold driver files. This folder had an icon file (which looks like my joystick), and a folder labeled drivers. So I went poking around on my hard drive, and found :Program FilesThrustmasterTM Flight Series. Also check your USB connection, maybe plug it in a different port. After that, restart your pc and it should automatically download them, but if not download and install the drivers from the interwebz. I think I may have potentially found out the issue. I decided to go try and run down the control panel launcher. Go to control.panel, find it, right click and uninstall driver. The Sparco went on sale and I just returned GTE to get the Sparco lol. ![]()
